We at Pallas know that a coloured record can truly be a collector’s item. Take a look at the various versions and their effect on the A and B side.
LET THE COLOURS ROTATE
Please keep in mind that even with re-orders of the same special pressing version the actual outcome may slightly vary as it depends on the current batch of vinyl granulate and many other factors. Make sure to indicate the version of the special pressing including your chosen vinyl colours in your purchasing order.
Version 01 – Splatter Vinyl with 1 x Splatter
without surcharge
Version 01b – Splatter Vinyl with 2 x Splatter
without surcharge + one additional Splatter colour
Version 01c – Splatter Vinyl with 3 x Splatter
without surcharge + two additional Splatter colours
Version 02 – Splatter Vinyl with 1 x Splatter – double-sided
without surcharge // This version will only be used if the base colour is an opaque vinyl colour. Otherwise the Splatter effect would only be visible on one side of the record. The Splatter colour must be identical on both sides.
Version 06 – Splatter on the edge only
30 % surcharge
Version 08 – Splatter Vinyl with 1 x Splatter in the middle only
30 % surcharge
Version 08b – Splatter Vinyl with 2 x Splatter in the middle only
30 % surcharge + one additional Splatter colour
Version 10 – Black Dust with transparent base colour
without surcharge
Version 11 – Black Dust with opaque base colour
without surcharge
Version 20 – Split Colour half & half
without surcharge // Depending on the colours there will be colour gradients in the overlapping area.
Version 22 – Split-Colour-Vinyl (half & half) with 1 x Splatter
50 % surcharge // This version is only used if one of the base colours is an opaque vinyl colour.
Version 22b – Split-Colour-Vinyl (half & half) with 2 x Splatter
50 % surcharge + one additional Splatter colour // This version is only used if one of the base colours is an opaque vinyl colour.
Version 30 – One colour circle
no surcharge // The base colour must be a transparent vinyl colour.
Version 31 – One colour circle – one-sided with opaque vinyl colours
no surcharge // Base and circle colour is opaque vinyl colours – base colour may not be white.
Version 32 – One colour circle – two-sided with opaque vinyl colours
50 % surcharge // Base colour must be opaque vinyl colours – base colour may not be white.
Version 33 – One colour circle – base colour with 1 x Splatter
30 % surcharge
Version 33b – One colour circle – base colour with 2 x Splatter
30 % surcharge + one additional splatter colour
Version 34 – One colour circle – colour circle with Splatter
30 % surcharge
Version 35 – One colour circle – circle & base each with Splatter
50 % surcharge // Splatter colour on base colour and colour circle don’t need to be identical.
Version 38 – Two colour circles
50 % surcharge // Colours of both circles must be identical.
Version 42 – Two colour circles – each circle with 1 x Splatter
50 % surcharge // Colours on all colour circles must be identical.
Version 45 – Three colour circles
50 % surcharge // colours of all colour circles must be identical
Version 48 – Three colour circles – each circle with 1 x Splatter
50 % surcharge // Colours of all colour circles and all splatter colours must be identical.
Version 51 – One colour circle with three colour dubs
50 % surcharge // Colours of the colour circle and the dubs must be identical.
Version 59 – Five colour dubs
50 % surcharge // Colours of all dubs must be identical.
Version 65 – Base colour with coloured surround
50 % surcharge // Either the base or the surround colour must be opaque vinyl.
Version 70 – Two colour sides
30 % surcharge // One side must be made with an opaque vinyl colour.
Version 72 – two colour sides with 2 x splatter
50 % surcharge
Version 80 – Base colour with one coloured thread
30 % surcharge
Version 85 – Split Colour – three stripes
80 % surcharge
Surcharges & Mixtures
As special pressings are handcrafted, smaller irregularities must be accepted. Depending on the used batch of vinyl granulate even re-orders can have a slightly different look than the previous one. All indicated Pantone colours can only be seen as a rough information on the target outcome.
On some more elaborate versions there is a surcharge of 30 % or 50 % on the base costs for special pressings. If there is an additional splatter colour beyond the first one additional costs of 0,03 € excl. VAT per colour will be charged.
