CDs, DVDs und Blue-Rays sind seit Jahrzehnten bewährte, vielseitige Datenträger. Wir fertigen verschiedene Formate – natürlich in Pallas-Qualität.

CD Formats 

The Compact Disc (CD for short) is an optical storage medium introduced in the early 1980s for the digital storage of music. It is manufactured as a round disc made of polycarbonate plastic with a standard diameter of 12 cm.

The classic CD (Compact Disc) with a diameter of 12 cm, which can be used for both audio files and digital data.

Vinyl Optic

A normal CD is first printed with a black surface and subsequently finished with a black „groove“ in a screen printing process.

Digital Video Formats  

For large data volumes or video material, we offer two reliable options for permanent storage on optical media.

DVD

The DVD format is widely used, compatible with countless devices, and cost-efficient to produce. Depending on data size or video length, we offer DVD-5 or DVD-9 production.
BluRay-800

Blu-Ray

The Blu-Ray format delivers outstanding image and sound quality, making it ideal for HD and 4K content. With high storage capacity and broad compatibility on modern players.

Print Finishing  

  • Reverse-side Printing: With inside-out print the rough cardboard inside is printed instead of the smooth outside.

     

  • Cellophane: With this finish the cardboard is coated with a thin layer of foil. This foil is available in a gloss or in a mat version. Both have a significant better optic than a simple varnish. In addition the product has a pleasant haptic and an extra protection.

     

  • Mat Varnish: Unlike the inside-out printing, a matte finish is applied to the smooth outer side of the cardboard in order to create an rough and natural look.

     

  • Spot Varnish: The spot varnish can be applied to most cardboard products. On a part of the motif (e. g. an image or a logo) an additional gloss coating is applied to highlight it visually. To give a better contrast with the background, the product is coated with a mat varnish in advance.

     

  • Hot Foil Stamping: Hot foil stamping can be applied in silver and gold on cardboard packaging.

     

  • Embossing: With embossing, individual parts of the design can be felt as elevation or depression.

     

  • Die-cut: A die-cut in a sleeve can have an extraordinary effect especially when paired with a couloured inner sleeve or insert.

     

  • Rainbow-Foil: For an even more refined appearance the product sleeve can be coated in a rainbow-foil to achieve a shimmering finish.

     

  • Multi-Laser-Foil: This special coating adds a rather metallic shimmering finish to the product’s surface.

Standard Verpackungen

  • LP Tasche: Die meisten Vinyl Schallplatten werden in LP-Taschen mit einem 3mm breite n Rücken verpackt.
  • Schlauchalbum: Wenn Sie eine hochwertige Verpackung bevorzugen oder ein LP-Set konfektionieren lassen wollen, empfehlen wir ein Schlauchalbum. Neben der bekannten Version für eine oder zwei LPs bieten wir auch spezielle Versionen für 3 oder 4 LPs an.
  • Schuber: Für ein Set aus 2 oder 3 LPs können Sie auch eine LP-Tasche mit einem 5 mm oder 7 mm breiten Rücken verwenden. Bei einem Set von mehr als 3 LPs empfiehlt sich ein Schuber aus stärkerem Karton.
     
  • Stülpdeckelbox: Zweiteilige Stülpdeckelboxen sind die ideale Verpackung für Sets von Vinyl-Schallplatten oder für Sammler-Editionen.
